2026 IAOS Conference

2026 IAOS Conference

Visa and Entry

All participants attending the meeting are requested to have a valid passport or ID document and, if required, a visa. Applications for visas should be submitted to the Visa Service of the Republic of Lithuania in the country in which the participants reside or to the embassy of the country representing the Republic of Lithuania with reference to the IAOS 2026 Conference.

Please note that the processing of a Schengen visa application may take up to 45 days, therefore, we encourage conference participants to submit their visa applications as early as possible (but no earlier than six months before the planned start of the trip).

Lithuania is part of the Schengen Area, which means that no controls between Lithuania and other Schengen countries take place. Third-country nationals may enter Lithuania if they are in possession of a valid travel document and a visa (if required).

See the list of countries whose citizens need a visa to enter Lithuania here.

Should you have any questions or inquiries, please contact the Conference Team by e-mail iaos2026@stat.gov.lt.
